The information that you submit will not be shared with any third party, except as might be required by law enforcement.

The internal messaging system does not reveal your email address to the person you are sending the message to. They only see your username.

Make sure you pick a good password, one that is not easily guessed. Most recommendations say to make it at least 8 characters long, letters and numbers, with a mixture of upper and lower case letters.

One thing to keep in mind, when you add a request to your journal, it will be posted on the home page and sent to people who have requested the digest of requests. If you do not want people to see the name (remember, some people like to keep their problems out of public knowledge), mark it as private. This site will not accept responsibility for posted names.
